Events and parties calendar

It's hard to spot immediately which dates have events on them without having to select each date individually.

Perhaps the tabs with the dates along the top could be shaded in a light colour if there is an event on that date so you know straight way that something is on that date rather than having to click on all the dates to see if anything is one.

Or perhaps a week to view would be useful, so you can view a week at a time and have really basic info on the dates to show what's on. You could then click on in for more info.

It would be nice to look at a glance what dates have events on them during the week/month.

We have to plan ahead to be able to sort sitters so it's not often that we just look at the upcoming weekend etc. but tend to look further ahead.
